ABOUT BOB NOCEK

Bob Nocek's interest in photography grew out of a 12-year newspaper career during which he learned to think visually about his writing and worked with creative photojournalists to tell stories in a mult-dimensional way. What began as a hobby grew into a consuming passion as his photography expanded from vacation photos to include portraiture, sports, and weddings.

He has worked on assignment for KDP Studio in Kingston, PA, and his photographs have been included in Images 2008 at the Central Pennsylvania Festival of the Arts and the Fine Arts Fiesta in Wilkes-Barre, PA. He is a member of Professional Photographers of America, the National Association of Photoshop Professionals, the Carolina Nature Photographers Association, and the Capital City Camera Club.

Bob grew up in West Wyoming, Pennsylvania and lived in the Wilkes-Barre area until 2009. He currently resides in Durham, North Carolina.
